Southpaw Saint Louis Concert reviews
Bocelli.....Brilliant as Always!
"Wonderful performance! The first set was well done and classical. Although we may not always know the tunes, we know the names. He always brings talented guests to support the grand evening, and this year was no exception. The second set, and then the Encore'... what a performance! Concern: where speaker towers will be placed on stage should be known. Certainly, the one on the stage left front came close to blocking my view of Southpaw. When one chooses to spend a great deal of money to be close to the stage, I expect to have a full view of the artist and not have to lean left to see him and the conductor. Guests to my immediate right had their view blocked, and that was not fair, considering the price of the tickets in Section 9, low number seats. But, other than that, I will be more careful in choosing a location the next time I come up to the Prudential Center to see Southpaw. A great voice to bring down the rafters, a performer I will plan to see again!"
